Lesson 8: Chapters 14, 15, & 16 - Speeches, Reading, and Libraries
This lesson covers three types of speeches: persuasive, demonstration, and informative. Key features needed for a good speech – capturing the audience’s attention, supporting your topic, and effective conclusions are taught. Reading topics teach the 4-block method that enables a student to improve two reading levels in just one year, regardless of learning disabilities or intelligence. It also includes the importance of libraries and what they can provide to improve classroom success.
